Have you been to Cambria Bike's Bargain Basement yet? They have a great deal on Avid Mechanical Disc Brakes and Levers. Yes they are '05 version but they are $69.95 instead of $119.95, 41% off ($139.95 at Nashbar).
How about a CATEYE HL-EL500 POWER OPTICUBE LIGHT for $32.95 instead of $42.95?($39.95 on Sale at Nashbar).
This looks like a good place to check before you buy bike parts and accessories.
