It is Spring and I feel like I am starting a new phase of my cycling this career this year. It has been a few years since I have been able to cycle seriously. I am planning to go slow this year and have fun with what I can do. I don’t know what that is yet but I plan to listen to my body and keep getting stronger as the season progresses.
My goals for the year are humble, be ready for LAB Instructor Training in July at the Fryberg get together and ride in the Tour of Montreal.
As part of my new start for 2009, I’d like to know what kinds of things you like to read about. Please help my by taking this survey
Thanks for your help … Roland
BTW: If I forgot a topic, you can add it at the bottom of the survey in the “Other” box.
My current phone is an LG Dare and it one of my all time favorites but still a long way from what I want when touring. I’d like an iPhone but it would not be a great phone for cycling I believe.
I haven’t had a cellphone that I have been happy with for touring since phones switched to color displays. Those were the analog days, great coverage and reflective LCDs that were bright in direct sun light. But as cell phone technology has evolved the usability for cyclist has decreased.
Today’s cellphone have colored graphical displays and built in cameras. Those would be great features if you could see anything in the display outdoors in direct sun light. Digital signals extend battery life but have deteriorated coverage in rural areas. Today’s cellphones are better phones for most users but certainly not better for touring cyclists.
So if you have any suggestions please share here.
